speak of slackers....
2 much time spent on twitter(@billbuff), and none here journaling.
Recently came out of a 8-month depressive state. what did I do? my prescription to Prozac ran out around April 16th, and have lately(May 10th or so) came back to life. Go figure.
This clinical depression stuff is just plain depressing, dare I say. Stop the anti-depressant and much better mood, and some needed verve and energy! thanx god, and all that; but, wtf am I supposed to do now? I'm listening....

Mitt Romney is a phony and he is losing big time!!!
The most recent Rasmussen polling(rasmussenreports.com) shows Thompson leading the field with 28% of likely primary voters followed by Rudy Giuliani (19%) and John McCain (13%). Mitt Romney is in 4th position with 11%. All that money, personal and sucker contributions, and he can only poll eleven percent? Can you say: loser. Hey chump, mitt is a baseball glove; not a name for an adult. Another pretty boy with nothing behind the phony persona.
Kerry may have flipped a few times, but this asshole wrote the book on flip-flopping.
He was quick to jump on Hillary's healthcare plan on Tuesday(basically the same one he signed into law in Mass.), and criticize it. Anything for a headline, huh Glove?
Thompson will certainly fade, but he is currently pulling folks from His Honor(Giuliani--who, you remember, singlehandedly saved New York after 9/11, or so he claims. I'm a loyal and life long democrat, and outside of McCain, I wouldn't vote for any of the rest of the GOP contenders. Thompson thinks he can just step in and win the nomination solely with his voice and stature; Fred, what the hell have you done for this country that merits the presidency? A bit part on Law and Order? Another pro-lifer using opposition to Roe vs Wade to get noticed and fire the base.

Back in the game
I'm back!!! We are now settled back in Pennsylvania, city name East Berlin. We finally sold our house in West Bloomfield, MI in October 2006, and moved into a nice home in the woods and farm land of beautiful Adams County, PA. While still a michigangentleman at heart, I am now permanently a Pennsylvanian, once again.
While things in general are a whole lot less hectic here, I hopefully will be posting on a regular basis; and hopefully driving some traffic to this site. I am trading stocks full-time, and doing little else(lucky me, huh?).

Update on House for sell
Last summer i mentioned that we were prepping the house to be put on the market. Well it's been on the market since February 2006. We are getting about 1 showing a week, but still no takers. :( Chin up, boy, it will sell; than the real work begins!
Using Flock browser with built-in Blogging interface(try/you'll like it)
Finally able to use Mozilla/Gecko engine browsers on my PC. Problem(I think) was caused by so-called Internet Optimizers setting a TCP(registry-based) that Mozilla did not like;(. I haven't yet isolated the specific canged parmeter that caused Mozilla browsers to not fully-load some page, which resulted in the browser becoming unusable until restarted. Be careful, these internet optimizers may speed-up Internet Explorer, but they can break your Mozilla browser(e.g., Netscape, FireFox, Flock, K-Meleon, etc.). You gotta love Microsoft, this could be a good way of trashing their Mozilla competitors.

Garrison Keillor Piece on Salon.com
Just read a beautiful piece by Mr keillor on salon.com, and these particular words: "...Passion is in your head. Two people can be married for a dog's age and despite all the aches and bruises of matrimony they still look at each other and get excited. Nobody else understands this. Nobody else needs to. " - Keillor... made me almost cry. So touching, and apropo. That's the way I feel about my wife, and I hope she feels about me. It's not just sexual energy, it's all the shared times and feelings for lo these 30+ years together. I love as musch today, as when we first kissed in high school.
I've been remiss in posting here. The paint spruced up the living/dining room. Just stained the fresh washed deck, and look's mighty-fine. The house is still not on the market, but soon, dear one, I promise. Been wanting to spend some time in Florida this winter, and escape(some) from dreary cold Michigan.

Harry Potter's out, Karl Rove still in, and Tiger's leading the British Open. The Yankees lost to the BoSox 17-1;how does a slaughter like that happen? Wife's picking up paint for the living room as we are moving back East, finally!
Power-washed the deck, and it looks brand new, hope a fresh coat livens the living/dining room up. It's funny how you live with something for 8 years, and when you are about to put the ole homestead on the market, you spiffy it up.
No sun here in SE Michigan, but that's not unusual. Had a thunderstorm rain for over an hour this morning, and still gray out there. Since I've been felling better, I crave the sun...never much cared for it before, except January and February...especially here in Michigan.
